The MSC OTA program prepares students to become Occupational Therapy Assistants and it is an exciting profession. Upon successful completion of the program the graduate will take the National Board Certification Occupational Therapy examination and meet state licensing requirements. The OTA works under the supervision of and in collaboration with a licensed occupational therapist. Together they help individuals engage in the "job of living." Learning, growing, playing, working, managing our homes, and caring for our families are among the “occupations” of daily life. A career as an OTA offers a wide variety of opportunities to improve the lives of people of all ages. Occupational Therapy enables people of all ages to regain, restore, develop, or master the activities of daily life in order to "Live Life to Its Fullest!"
